Articles, guides, podcasts, videos and other content on this site are for general education. Using this website does not make you a patient

Using this website, reading its content, signing up for the newsletter, contacting us or submitting an application does not create a doctor-patient relationship. A doctor-patient relationship begins only after we accept you as a patient, you complete our intake and consent forms, and you have your first visit.

Applying to become a patient

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee that we will accept you as a patient.
  • Dr. Maren and her team care for patients in California, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan and Texas, where they are licensed. For telehealth visits, you must be physically located in one of these states at the time of each visit.
  • Your care, fees, membership terms and policies are set out in separate patient agreements that you receive and sign before care begins. If those agreements conflict with these Terms, the patient agreements control.

Using the website

You may use this website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights.
  • Copy, scrape or harvest content or contact information with automated tools.
  • Interfere with the site’s security or operation, or try to access systems you are not authorized to use.
  • Submit false information, spam or harmful code through our forms.
