This recipe is a simple, healthy and colorful way to get another vegetable on the dinner table. Cauliflower, turmeric and sesame seeds have wonderful health benefits. You can read more about that in my post on nutrition and detoxification.
1 head cauliflower, sliced into 1/2 inch thick slabs
2-3 Tb olive oil or coconut oil
2 tsp ground turmeric
1 Tb white sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 350 F.
On a large rimmed baking sheet, drizzle the sliced cauliflower and any broken florets with olive or coconut oil. Then sprinkle evenly with turmeric and sea salt. Roast for 10 minutes. Remove from over to toss or flip, then sprinkle with sesame seeds. Roast for another 10 minutes or just until tender.
