Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Prepare the oranges by slicing off both ends, then removing the peel and slicing them in half. Sprinkle each half with rosemary and press the herbs into the flesh. Top each half with about 1/2 tsp of sugar. Melt the coconut oil in the hot pan, and add oranges sugar side down. Leave undisturbed for about 5 minutes, then check to make sure they are cooking evenly and caramelizing. When ready, remove to a serving plate.
We like to serve coconut whipped cream on the side.
PS- if you’re not strictly paleo, just substitute the coconut sugar for any organic sugar.
