About Functional Medicine Holistic Nutritionist Jessica Doyle CNTP, RN

Jessica Doyle is a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (CNTP) and Registered Nurse (RN). She is also a certified health coach for preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum. With over 20 years working in the healthcare industry, Jessica specializes in supporting her patients through tailored nutrition with the goal of experiencing more vitality, wellness and energy.

After ten years working as a labor and delivery nurse, along with experiencing her own health issues, she realized traditional western models of medicine couldn’t provide the solutions most people needed to resolve their health issues. She realized that some patients felt dismissed and frustrated with “normal” test results despite abnormal symptoms, which persisted and often developed into more serious health concerns.

Always a learner and never satisfied with the status quo, Jessica decided to explore other avenues of healthcare and found Functional Medicine. She now helps patients heal by addressing the root cause of illness through personalized nutrition and lifestyle modifications.

She attended the Nutritional Therapy Institute of Denver for two years to become a CNTP. She also trained with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and attended numerous Apex courses designed by Dr. Datis Kharazian. Most recently, she completed a health coaching certification for preconception, pregnancy and postpartum, and she is currently enrolled in a sports and performance nutrition program which uses a holistic approach to maximizes the body’s natural ability to achieve personal fitness and athletic goals. She is also trained to help you understand our favorite nutrigenomics test from Nutrition Genome.

Jessica joined Dr. Maren’s practice in 2020…

Jessica enjoys consulting one-on-one with patients on fertility, pregnancy, gut health, autoimmunity and metabolic conditions. She also provides nutritional education for weight loss, anti-aging, aesthetics and sports performance.

Jessica is a mom of 3 and a grandmother of 2. She and her husband are Colorado natives and love the outdoors. With her youngest daughter in both indoor and beach competitive volleyball she spends most of her free time court side and loves being the team mom. She also loves playing sports and grabbing the occasional OrangeTheory Fitness class when possible.

Jessica sees new and established clients worldwide via Dr. Maren’s telemedicine programs.

My Philosophy

I believe food has the power to either heal us or harm us, and that a healthy diet is the foundation of good health.

There’s no one-size-fits-all in nutrition, which is why most diets fail.

Individualized assessment, education, and coaching and are essential to establishing a nutritional approach you can stick with (and that you’ll love).

There’s a time and place for short term elimination diets…short-term being the key phrase!

I do not believe in long term uber-restrictive diets because they are not sustainable and can create food fears.

I aim for balance and sustainability.

I love nutrition…and I also love food! Therefore, my goal is to help patients develop a healthy and balanced relationship with all aspects of eating and food preparation.

I’m a fan of whole, real foods that taste good.

I am not a fan of weird meal replacement snacks, bars, or any other fad-diet-types of foods.

I believe eating should be a pleasure, not a stressful, restrictive, or shameful experience.

I believe when we know what to eat to for our unique bodies, we will thrive in our health and our relationship with food.

Your body knows how to heal, my job is to help you give it the nourishment it needs to restore its natural vitality.
